Smart Cup Solutions has announced a new partnership with the Brighton Coffee Festival 2024, which will see the sustainable solutions provider offer a brand-new cup borrowing platform to festival attendees.
The collaboration will see Smart Cup Solutions work with sustainable drinkware specialist, Circular&Co. to bring the TAP&REUSE™ Cup borrowing platform to the festival, which takes place on the 10th and 11th of August.
TAP&REUSE™ is one of the many innovative solutions that Smart Cup Solutions can provide via its network of partners and aims to revolutionise the way coffee is consumed to reduce environmental impact.
The TAP&REUSE™ Cup System is designed to provide high-quality, smart enabled returnable coffee cups which can be tracked through their lifecycle.
This seamless process encourages responsible use without the need for a deposit, an app, or the sharing of personal information. To encourage a circular economy of returnable cups, a charge is only applied if users do not return their cup to one of the festival’s designated return points within 24 hours.
The cups provided for the scheme by Circular&Co. are designed to be reused up to 1,000 times, and just three uses can offset the CO2 emissions created during their production.
