In a city that drinks more coffee per person than anywhere in the UK, and is home to one of the best artisan coffee scenes in the world, the Brighton Coffee Festival will celebrate everything great about the local coffee industry and the vibrant city of Brighton.
The one-day event will include multiple sessions throughout the day and will feature cuppings, latte art competitions, informative talks by industry professionals, entertainment, traders, giveaways, food stands as well as all the coffee you could need.
The average Brightonian spends approximately £200 a year on coffee, creating an industry that’s worth a staggering £55 million and this celebration of coffee will help promote the very best the city’s speciality coffee scene has to offer.
“For too long the local scene has been under-promoted and the Brighton Coffee Festival will offer the opportunity to showcase just how outstanding the coffee in Brighton is, in the historic and redeveloped Open Market site,” said one of the festival organisers, Daniel White.
